Mesa Benefits is a Health Insurance Agency specializing in Medicare Insurance. We operate our agency guided by three main principles. First, you the beneficiary are in charge of the decisions that you make regarding your Medicare Insurance. We give a comprehensive overview of the parts of Medicare and how the intertwine with your Insurance options. We give you a fact-based comparison of the Insurance available in order for you to make the decisions that fits your lifestyle, health situation, and budget. We offer every type of Medicare Insurance available. The second principle is that we teach, train, and mentor agency partners that operate their businesses in the same way. We feel so strongly that you are in charge of your decisions that we won’t work with an agent that only wants to offer one type of insurance. The third principle is that we follow the rules set forth by the governing bodies that regulate Medicare Insurance sales and marketing. When you decide to work with Mesa Benefits, you will talk to either Bruce or Stephanie and we are here for you long after the enrollment is complete.

About Mesa Benefits

Having been in the insurance business since 2014, Stephanie has helped multitudes of clients navigate the finance industry as an advisor. After seeing the special frustration that Medicare caused, she realized it was time to dig deeper. In October of 2019, Mesa Benefits launched after seeing so many suffer from information overload that so often accompanies the Medicare process. Fast forward to October of 2020; Bruce decided to join Stephanie full-time with Mesa Benefits after retiring from his 30-year career with the City of Grand Junction. They take the time to get to know you, what’s important to you, and even alert you to things that weren’t even on your radar, all while taking the time to demystify the system as a whole. Retirement should be fun! Let them be your guide through the Medicare process.

About Us

Bruce Hagen and Stephanie Garcia-Hagen are husband and wife agency owners of Mesa Benefits. They married in 2012 and have a wonderful blended family that includes 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling to warm places in the winter to escape the Colorado cold. Their adventures have taken them across the United States as well as to island countries with white sand beaches. They make their home in Grand Junction and love exploring the entire state of Colorado through camping and weekend trips. The couple are passionate about helping others and “paying it forward”.
