Craig Hall, publisher of The Business Times, has announced that the paper is stepping up to be the print media sponsor for Edesia: A Palisade Culinary, Wine & Spirits Adventure April 2 at Wine Country Inn.

Edesia is presented by Alpine Bank with Jack Daniel’s Family of Fine Whiskeys and St. Mary’s Medical Center.

The Business Times joins other media sponsors KKCO 11 News, Magic 93.1 and the Vault 100.7 in getting the word out about the popular food, wine, and spirits event that benefits Marillac Clinic.

The Business Times is proud to join the business and media sponsors for this year’s Edesia event, ” Hall says. “We look forward to working with them and all of the dedicated people who volunteer their time, talents and products for this event’s continued success in helping Marillac Clinic and all it does for our community.

Edesia will offer a unique opportunity for guests to sample cuisine prepared by an elite, talented cadre of local chef/educators from Western Colorado Community College’s Culinary Arts program. They will take the lead in preparing the VIP Chef’s Table Luncheon at 11 am and in presenting culinary demos in the afternoon from 2 to 5 pm.

The Chefs will focus on a Greek theme of Earth, Wind, Air and Fire.

Participating Chef/Instructors include Wayne Smith, Deb Henderson, Jon St. Peter and Beth Branscum.   They will be assisted by WCI Chef David Kassera and his staff as well as students enrolled in their program.

Tickets for the VIP Luncheon from 11 am to 1 pm cost $125 per person and include admission to the afternoon event. Tickets for the main event from 2 to 5 pm cost $65 per person and are available for online purchase by secure Pay Pal link at edesiapalisade.com or by calling 970-464-5777.

WCI General Manager Ian Kelley says it’s not too late to reserve a fee-free spot for Edesia.
