Chef Michael Gonzales started out 13 years ago as a sauté chef but his desire to learn inspired him to enroll in a sous chef program from which he s graduated from in 2004.
In 2006, after a meeting with Christopher Boyd, executive chef/owner of the soon to be opened No Coast Sushi, Michael accepted the position of Lead Kitchen Chef and Japanese Sushi Chef Apprentice there. Having mastered all available job offerings, Michael became No Coast Sushi Front of House General Manager in 2011.
Chef Gonzales’ passion and dedication is instrumental in leading the No Coast crew to success, bringing his love of the business to guests with creative specials, innovative cocktail mixes and the superior customer service.
Gonzales has led many successful in-house local non-profit fundraisers including Roice-Hurst Humane Society, Delaney Donates, CLAWS, and Hero Junction.
Calling Colorado home, he enjoys exploring our beautiful state with his wife Kiley, and their three rambunctious boys. When traveling the country, he shares his passion for food with his family by seeking out local and unique eateries, appreciating the culinary world that has embraced him.
Chef Gonzales will be working with Chef Roberts from No Coast to create the Amuse Bouche for the VIP Luncheon.
